A Sunday morning walk through Fort
The one morning the business district holds still, from CST to Ballard Estate to Flora Fountain. Inspired by "A Sunday Morning Walk in Mumbai" by Sudhagee.

Sunday is the only day Fort holds still. The offices are shut, the traffic thins, and for once you can actually stop and look at the buildings.

From there it is the colonnade of Horniman Circle and Flora Fountain presiding over junctions that are, just this once, unhurried. I like to end at St. Thomas' Cathedral, and if the doors are open, a slow coffee at Kitab Khana.
